There was something about Golden Knife that resonated with me and got me going on the project after the game jam. I was really interested in making a game around fast content creation, and especially level creation in real-time. So I put aside the game jam project and I focused purely on the editor where you could have tools in play mode to create levels for the game and save and load them however you like. During that time I was reading Game Programming Patterns by Robert Nystrom and this project was a great opportunity to try them out in practice.
